James Vito Ferlisi, age 61, of Guttenberg, New Jersey passed away on Sunday January 27, 2019. James was born August 24, 1957 in Jersey City to Norma Ferlisi and the late Vito Ferlisi. James was the Laundry Manager for Christ Hospital in Jersey City for many years before retiring.
James is the beloved husband of Catherine (Benjamin) Ferlisi and the devoted father of Joseph and Thomas Ferlisi. He is the dear brother of Mary, Frankie, Angie, Richie, Michael, Joey and Donna. He is also the loving grandfather of Jaiden, Luciana, Carmine and Emmelia.
A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087.
