John J. Treanor passed away on Thursday 11/26/09 at the age of 77. He was born in New York City and lived in Union City for many years before moving to Montvale. He was a Mechanical Operator for Republic Container Corp. In Jersey City for many years before retiring. He was also a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Club.John was the beloved husband of the late Vivian Treanor and the devoted father of; Robert Treanor, Carolyn Teanor, Diane Clayton, Joseph Treanor and the late John Treanor. He was the dear brother of; Julia Dingman and Geraldine La Fey as well as the loving grandfather of many grand and great grandchildren. The funeral will be on Tuesday 12/1/09 at 10am at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church with the interment to be private. Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home, Union City, NJ.
