Patricia Gennari

Born in Allentown, PA on November 12, 1935, to the late Alfred and Edna Ringenback, Pat lived in North Bergen, NJ until moving to Austin, TX in 1998. She married her husband, the late Aldo J. Gennari, in 1956. Pat worked for Royal Pudding in Hoboken, NJ until the birth of her first child in 1959. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her loving children, Jeffrey; her daughter Debra, and her spouse, Nelson; five adoring grandchildren Matthew, Adrian, Cassondra, Shaun, and his spouse Cheryl. Her son, Glenn, pre-deceased her in 1995.

Pat’s always positive attitude, her infectious laugh, and habit of singing around the house will be missed. She loved spending much of her time with her dogs. Her move to Austin in 1998 allowed to her spend time enjoying her favorite pastime of swimming. Her pool buddies Sally, Richard, Peggy, and Pam gave her many years of fun and sun at the pool, and brought much joy to her life!

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Compassus Hospice of Round Rock. Their CNA, Penny, provided unending care, assistance, and emotional support to Pat and her family during the last months of her illness.

Pat’s Life Celebration will include visitation on Sunday, June 21st from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, NJ. A funeral prayer service will be offered at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 22nd at 10:00 am. Friends and family may gather prior to the service at 9:30 am. Pat will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetary in Fairview, NJ.
