RITA TERESA LAPINE JERSEY CITY Rita Teresa Lapine of Jersey City on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, John and sur-vived by her children, John Lapine, Jr., Charlotte Lapine, Robert Lapine and predeceased by the late Donald Lapine. Rita was a loving grandmother, having fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchil-dren. She worked for the Port Au-thority of NY and NJ as a cashier for 32 years, retiring in 1980. An active person, she also worked for years as a Hostess in various theatres in the New York Theatre District as a member of the Stage Employee Interna-tional Union, Local 54, in New York. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday from the Leber Funeral Home, Union City and then to Church of the Assump-tion in Woodridge for the Funeral Mass, time to be an-nounced. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
