William Ernest Lund age 84 of Oakland passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024. William is survived by his devoted daughter Melissa, "son" Peter Murphy and adored granddaughter Siobhan. Loving daughter Maureen Fogel (husband Rich, grandsons Scott and David) and Monica Enright (husband Rob, grandchildren Samantha and Robbie and great granddaughter Maisie Rose).
William was predeceased by his wife Marilyn who was the love of his life for 51 years and cherished son William. He worked as a public accountant for over 30 years and then switched paths to private accounting where he became Controller for Amerex Group before retiring. His greatest joy was watching his granddaughter Siobhan grow up. He had the biggest heart and was always the first one there to lend a helping hand, He would offer good advice and support you in any way possible.
Services are private with the Leber Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
