M/Sgt. Allan Lee “Pete” Petermeier, U.S. Air Force, Retired, age 75 passed away January 10, 2013. He was born November 29, 1937 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Harry A. and Margaret L. (Huber) Petermeier. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years Mary L. (Chalker) Petermeier; daughters, Sheri L. Boos and husband Al and Judy L. McCarthy; grandchildren, Maggie Boos and husband Ryan Agrella, Katie Boos Wegner and husband Brent, Rebecca McCarthy, and Allan McCarthy; brother, Norman Petermeier and wife Stephanie; sister, Ardell Spooner-Forrester and husband Pat; sister-in-law, Barbara Petermeier, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. Private graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1129 Pat Booker Road, Universal City, Texas 78148.
