Anita Herrera Sifuentes

Anita Herrera Sifuentes passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 86. She was born on May 17, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Manuel and Anjelita (Guzman) Herrera. Anita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roberto Aguilar Sifuentes, sons, Larry H. Sifuentes and Randy H. Sifuentes; survived by her children, Robert H. Sifuentes, Edward H. Sifuentes, Ronnie H. Sifuentes, Roy H. Sifuentes, Carol H. Sifuentes; 22 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren; one Great-Great-Grandchild. As a Catholic, Anita's family always came first. She was a strong woman who always kept herself actively, developing her domestic work ethic well into her 70's. Anita was a homemaker who ran a taut home. Anita assisted with community service projects for the elderly; She liked the outdoors and social gatherings. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 5 — 9 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
