Aurora "Dora" Nicole Dawson

Aurora Nicole Dawson, age 32 of San Antonio, TX passed away on April 17, 2023. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on August 10, 1990 to Roger Dawson Sr. and Yolanda Dawson. She was a proud member of the United States Postal Office for 10 years. She had a passion for outdoor activities such as soft ball, swimming, and taking her girls to the park. She also had a great love for her pets and all animals. She was humble, kind, and willing to help anyone in need. Her greatest dedication is to, her daughters, Corina and Ciara.

Dora had the biggest heart and was one of a kind. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She was very strong willed and out spoken for what she believed in, at times she could be stubborn but these are the characteristics that encompassed who she was. Dora's faith undoubtedly was one of her greatest attributes. Which strengthen Dora throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Roger Sr; grandfather, Federico; grandmothers, Aurora and Hermina.

She is survived by her daughters Corina and Ciara; mother, Yolanda; stepfather, Edward; brothers, Roger Jr. and Eddie Jr.; sisters, Celeste and Francis.

A visitation for Dora will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A celebration of life will occur Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A final viewing will occur Monday, April 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Colonial Funeral Home. An interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd, San Antonio, TX 78239.
