Betty S. Thompson Cochran

Betty S. Cochran passed away on June 23, 2012 at the age of 74. She was born on September 7, 1936 in Duncan, OK to Charlie and Kizzie (Haley) Thompson. Betty was preceded in death by Marie Thompson Waldrop, Henry Waldrop and Charles Eugene Thompson; survived by her husband Chris Cochran; her children, Jocelyn Bushnell, her husband Mark, Alison McGuffey, her husband Steven, Cheryl Murray and David Cochran, his wife Donna; brother, William Thompson; sister, L. Faye Hessey; grandchildren, Sasha Bennet, Shekinah Bushnell, Brandon Cochran, Zachary Cochran, Amanda Niebruegge, Natasha Welch, her husband Wesley, Leann Murray and Sarek McGuffey; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Glass; and her nieces and nephews, Jeanie Hendricks, Bill Thompson, John Thompson and Donna Thompson. She received her Bachelors’ Degree from the University of Texas Pan American, Masters Degree from St. Mary’s University. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the funeral service beginning 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
