Bobby G. Mathis of Hewitt, Texas passed away on October 30, 2010 at the age of 77. He was born April 13, 1933 in Water Valley, Mississippi to James and Etta Lou Mathis. He is survived by his wife, Frances Mathis; sons, James W. Mathis (wife Melinda), John W. Mathis (wife Pamelyn); grandsons, Brandon Mathis, Greg Barrett; granddaughters, Kelsey and Kylie Mathis, April Jackson (husband Charles); great-grandchildren, Geovonnie and Charity Jackson; brother, Johnny Mathis; and sister, Judy Bush. A graveside service will take place on Thursday November, 4 at 2:00 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
