

Tony was born on March 31, 1963, in Patuxent River, Maryland to his parents, Saundra Crawford and David E. Hybert.
In his early life, Tony graduated from high school in Houston, Texas. He then went on to work in several job fields such as construction, hospitality and even as a salesperson in various industries.
Tony was passionate about sports, as he was a talented athlete in both football and baseball. He was also very active within the skate community. Tony competed in both speed skating and roller hockey and even coached kids later as an adult. Tony was also an avid collector of vintage toys and cars!
Those that knew of him, knew about his bigger than life character, his outgoing nature and friendliness. He loved meeting people, was super talkative and very caring with a heart as big as the world. He never met a stranger and made friends with people everywhere he went. Children loved him because of his playfulness and his ability to make them laugh.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; their children, Garret, Jeremy, and Nicholas; and his grandchildren, Violet, Bentley, and Finnley.
Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Saundra Crawford.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, located at 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of his friends and the doctors and nurses that cared for him during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to Tunnel 2 Towers and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
