Douglas "Doug" Dailey, age 67, passed away December 5, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. He was born February 28, 1950 in Nevada, Missouri. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ruby Dailey of Kansas City, Missouri. Doug is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lora, and his four children and their spouses, Shawn and Christy Dailey, Stacy Petkash, Joey and Kristy Dailey, Tony and Jennifer
Dailey; as well as 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Doug was a kind man with a huge heart who spent many years volunteering and mentoring young lives through coaching youth baseball in the Kansas City area. Doug touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. His family invites you to join in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm) at VFW Post 5789, 329 SE Douglas Street, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations made on his behalf to the American Cancer Society.
