A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Elda loved to travel with her best friend and husband, Vlad. Some of their most memorable trips were Costa Rica, Canada, and Hawaii. During these trips, Elda would make it a point to embark on thrilling excursions and meet fascinating new people. Elda's favorite time of year was the holidays, where she would bake a wide variety of treats for her family, friends, and neighbors.
She worked for the Northside School District as the registrar at both Stevens and Marshall High Schools. Helping people was her passion, and she treasured the dear friendships she developed at both places.
She passed away surrounded by loved ones and, in her last moments on earth, she was able to give the gift of life to five other patients. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Vladimir, daughter, Alexandria Adams, her husband, Noah, and their two children, Declan and Lachlan.
The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the Northeast Methodist Hospital's doctors, nurses, and TOSA team for their amazing care of Elda. A celebration of life for Elda will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas.
