Evelyn "Babe" Gauthier

Evelyn "Babe" Gauthier passed away on April 10th, 2017 at the age of 93. She is survived by her daughter Donna and her loving family, Art and Janie, a son Dennis, and grandson Dennis, and several nieces and nephews.

Babe was her nickname, given to her at a young age, because she was the baby of the family, and the name just stuck.

She traveled to Texas every Christmas season from her home town in Providence, Rhode Island for the past 30 years to be with her daughter and family and in 2012, she decided to make Texas her home.

She loved and enjoyed the outdoors, reading mystery novels, playing Keno, and daily lottery numbers, at which she was very lucky.

She touched many lives with her beautiful smile and her kind words she had for everyone, and will be missed by all.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Country Care Manor for the love and care they gave to her and Companion Hospice Team that cared for her in the last couple of months.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 29th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Saturday June 24th, 2017 from 10:30am to 11:00am at Romano Funeral Home (627 Union Ave, Providence, RI 02909). Chapel service will begin at 11:00am.
