Evelyn Rhea Stanphill Waddell, died on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Evelyn was born in Coleman, TX on July 13, 1923 to William and Ethel Stanphill. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Waddell who passed on May 15, 1999. She enjoyed working with children at the Fort Sam Day Care. She raised five children; Helen Fisher of San Antonio, TX. Carol Clark of Boulder, CO., Pamela Waddell of San Antonio, TX., Patricia Sablic and husband James of Schertz, TX., and David Waddell of San Antonio, TX.; grandchildren, Jason Whitaker of San Antonio, TX. , Brandon Hilts of Austin, TX. and Christa Sablic of Chicago, IL. great grandchildren, Damon Hilts, and Simone Hilts. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 9:00 am from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
