It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gloria G. Rogers on July 16, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on March 11, 1952, in Leyte, Philippines, Gloria's life was a testament to her love for the simple joys and vibrant moments that make life truly special.
Gloria's passion for living was evident in everything she did. She found immense joy in singing karaoke, where her voice would light up the room and bring smiles to everyone around her. Her love for dancing was infectious, often encouraging others to join her on the dance floor and share in her happiness. Gloria also had a green thumb and took great pride in her garden, nurturing each plant with the same love and care she showed to everyone in her life.
Her home was always lively, filled with the playful antics of her beloved dogs and cats, who were her constant companions and sources of comfort. Bingo nights were a cherished tradition for Gloria, where her outgoing personality shone brightly as she enjoyed the excitement of the game.
Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph R. Rodgers, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. She also leaves behind her cousins: Mary Lou of New York, Gloria Lee of California, and Tessy Bird of Alabama, all of whom shared a special bond with her.
