She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Keen Senior; survived by her brother Chris Spacone; daughters, Deborah Albrecht and Teresa White; and son, William Keen Junior. Janet also leaves behind nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Janet was a devoted wife, married to William for 49 years. Together they formed an independent trucking business shipping goods all over the United States. As a devoted mother she cherished her children and endeavored to provide for their health and wellbeing—remaining committed to them to the very end.
Janet had the gift of hospitality and made everyone feel welcome in her home. She was the master of stretching meals when unexpected guests dropped by, never letting them feel like a burden. She was also a strong woman enduring many medical obstacles, pushing through them with courage whilst maintaining a good attitude. She was always kind to the staff and strived to make their job easy with her endearing sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
There will be a memorial service for Janet on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Southside Assembly of God, Lakeland, Florida.
