Joe DelBosque Salazar passed away on April 14, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 65. He was born on December 7, 1951 in Charlotte, Texas to Gumecindo and Candelaria (DelBosque) Salazar. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Miguel and Amado. Joe is survived by his wife, Janie Salazar; daughter, Lucinda Ramos; son, Joe Arthur Salazar; grandchildren, Marissa Salazar, Clarissa Salazar, Raina Ramos and Marissa Janie Martinez and Tommy Martinez; and great grandchildren Paul Adamez and Gabriel Adamez. He is also survived by his sister, Candelaria Salazar and two brothers, Gumecindo Salazar and George Salazar. Visitation, Funeral Service and Interment will be Wednesday, April 26th 2017. The Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. The Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment is scheduled for is 1:15 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
