Juanita Joyce Daugherty, age 79 of Universal City passed away January 23, 2013. She was born December 31, 1933 in Sioux City, Iowa to Marlin Claude and Emma Lorena (Bowles) Davis. She was the Maitre d’ at the Randolph AFB Officer’s Club for 38 years. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Daugherty and Shawna Louise Peterson and husband Ricky; grandchildren, Megan Hall and husband Jason and Jason Galloway; great grandchildren, Mark and Tyler Galloway and Brook and Brett Hall; her best friends, Liza and Sysco. The family appreciates all the loving care given by Hope Hospice including Ms. Sandy, Ms. Joan, Ms. Young, Ms. Relly, and Chaplain Peter. Also a big thank you to Sundance Inn Healthcare. A visitation will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and funeral services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home.
