

Larry proudly served four years in the US Navy and then four years as a Reserve. He was a very active member of Church of Christ. He worked at Rod East Volkswagen as a service writer and retired after 30
years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman George and Kenneth Carter; sister, Dolly Carter.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Diana Carter; son, Larry Carter, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly; daughters, Michelle S. Bryson and her husband Chris, Crystal Carter; sister, Carolyn Carter; sister in law, Irene Parmeter and her husband Ronald; grandchildren, Brokker Bryson, Winter Bryson and Justin Carter.

A memorial service for Larry will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Following the memorial service will be a committal service from 10:15 AM to 10:35 AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209 at Shelter #2
