Lorraine Marie Wigal

Lorraine Marie Wigal, age 84, of Schertz, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Lorraine's light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Lorraine was born on May 20th, 1940 in Montague Massachusetts to Alfred & Marie Jeanne Lessard. She would graduate from Athol High School, Athol Massachusetts, in 1958. She furthered her education with additional courses in bookkeeping. Lorraine had a deep of love of reading and playing card games with her dear friends. Lorraine worked for Jack & Jill Daycare, the Army Air Force Exchange Service, and as a sales vendor since the early 1970s.

Lorraine was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Church in Schertz, Texas. As well as a member of the Catholic Daughters for many years.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents Alfred & Marie Jeanne Lessard; her beloved husband, Glen Wigal; daughter Karen Wigal; and sisters Irene Darling & Adriana Chamber.

Lorraine leaves behind to honor her legacy her daughter Ann (Joel) Herman, son Daniel Wigal; Granddaughter Ashley Herman; great granddaughters Harmony Herman & Kaycee Saltonstall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass for Lorraine will be celebrated Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Church of the Good Shepherd, 1065 E Live Oak Rd, Schertz, TX 78154.

A committal service will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #3,1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
