Capt. Michael Yelland U.S. Air Force, Retired passed away on Friday May 20, 2011 at the age of 71. He was born on December 7, 1939 in Grimsby, England to Leslie and Evelyn Yelland. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Personnel Programs Officer. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Y. Campbell (husband Boe), Renee Y. Gantt (husband Billy), Brittany A. Yelland (partner Rhianna), Brooke C. Chang (husband Charlie); grandchildren, N. Jackson Gantt, Logan M. Chang, Emerson A. Chang and brothers, Keith Yelland, Graham Yelland, and Winston Yelland. He also leaves his four legged companion, his dog, Annie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Salvation Army in his memory.
