

Mike F. Juarez Jr., age 65, of San Antonio, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born on October 8, 1956 in San Antonio, he was the 7th born child of Mike C. Juarez Sr. and Margarita F. Juarez. He was very devoted to his mother and father, and very obedient.
Mike was a hard worker, and he was very active before his accident. He played football for Kirby Junior High and Judson High School. Mike became paralyzed on January 11, 1976 at the age of 18. He was paralyzed for 46 years. Mike was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Mike was very much loved by all who knew him. He like to travel around and do all his errands in his wheelchair. He delivered Commodity in the apartment complex he lived in. His favorite saying was, “If God’s Will be done.” Mike never lost his faith in God.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Eduardo R. Juarez, Cristina Juarez Kukas, Oscar J. Juarez, Victoria Juarez and Maria Angelina. He is survived by seven siblings, Rebecca Salazar (husband Daniel), Rogelio B. Juarez (wife Edna), Margaret I. Cabrera (husband Frank), Lucille C. Salinas (husband Cruz), Mario H. Juarez, Irma Ramos, and Robert A. Juarez (wife Michelle); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The Funeral Mass for Mike will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 501 North St. Converse. Visitation will be held the same day before mass from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM with a rosary service beginning at 11:30 AM. Following the funeral mass, Mike will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery #2 in Selma.
