

Peter “Pete” Stabe passed away on December 18, 2011 at the age of 56. He was born on January 23, 1955 in Bethesda, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert William Stabe; survived by his mother, Elise Janet Stabe; loving wife, Christina Marie Stabe; son, John Peter Andrew Stabe; brother, Robert John Stabe (wife Susan Burgin Stabe); sisters, Janet Linda Stabe and Elisa Ann Potero (husband Timothy James Potero); nieces, Kathryn Susan Stabe, Jennifer Christine Stabe, Laura Michele Antonacci, Elizabeth Kyle Antonacci, Olivia Grace Potero; nephews, Matthew Robert Stabe, William Reid Potero; and 1st cousin John William Reid. The Lord had blessed Pete with many great traits. He was loyal and devoted to his Lord and family. He was faithful to his work responsibilities and to keeping his word. A man loaded with integrity and old fashioned courtesy, Pete was truly an empathetic and forgiving man. He had a great sense of humor, which often relieved a stressful situation. He was an avid NASCAR fan, a very talented potter and enjoyed playing the drums. He attended Texas Lutheran University and held Journeyman papers for Tool and Die. He also volunteered at the Texas Transportation Museum. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at New Braunfels Church of the Nazarene.
