SFC Richard Warren “Dick” Berry U.S. Army, Retired passed away on June 21, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born on November 30, 1931 in Galena, KS to Edward and Lora (Dillon) Berry. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Samuel Berry Jr.; survived by his wife; Mary C. Berry; Children, Jan, Eddie, Bobby (Yvette), Linda (Roland), William, Richard Jr. (Jackie), Patty and Johnny; grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Casey, Courtney, Ryan, Sarah, Kyler, Carly, Zach, Brenna, Connor, Blake, Will, Amber and Richard III; and 4 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 6:00P.M.-8:00 P.M. and the funeral service on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. Anyone so desiring may make memorials to a charity of one’s choice.
