Rosabell A. Wenzel Holtz

Rosabell A. Holtz of Schertz went to be with the Lord on Monday November 28, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born on October 30, 1928 to John and Rosie Wenzel. She is preceded in death by her husband, August (Gus) Holtz. She is survived by her children, Doris Dault (husband Ivan), Gary Holtz (wife Cindy), Faye Sowell (husband Tony), Kaye Zimmermann (husband Ralph); grandchildren, Keith Weese, Kyle Weese (wife Courtney), Nicole Zimmermann, Eric Zimmermann, Whitney Schueling (husband Blain), Justin Sowell, Travis Sowell; great grandchildren, Korbin, Landon, and Allie; sisters, Florine Davis and Bernardine Petoskey (husband Pete); brother Anthony Wenzel (wife Lorine); sister-in-law Bobbie Jasek. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was also an active member of St. Ann’s Society and Faithful Friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 30 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with a rosary being held at 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday December 1 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery Number 1.
