Rose Marie Thorpe went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born October 26, 1933 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, George, and son, Jim. Rose served the Lord with her husband at the Christian Servicemen’s Center in downtown San Antonio for the past 35 years and was well known by many downtown business owners and their workers. Memorial services will be held at True Life Baptist Church in Universal City on Thursday February 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Rose would want contributions sent to Christian Service Centers, Inc., P.O. Box 2374, San Antonio, Texas 78298.
