Sandy was born on July 8, 1947 in Longview, Washington to Maynard and Lavonne Linman. After moving to Tacoma and graduating from Mount Tahoma High School, she married her husband of 54 years, Russel M. Johnston. As an Air Force wife full of energy, she loved to travel, shop and exercise. She taught aerobics classes in several European countries, ran numerous 5k and 10k "Fun Runs" and participated in long distance bicycle tours.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents and youngest daughter April.
She is survived by her husband, Russ, daughter Autumn Myers, grandaughters Emma and Allison She also leaves six great-grandchildren, Chase, Bella, Graysie, Cooper, Skylyn, and Rhyder. Also, her sister Sue Bassett of Seattle and brother Steve Linman of Roy, Washington.
Sandy Will be missed by all.
At her request a private, family service will be held at a future date.
