Thomas Craig Nesbit, age 83, passed away on July 28, 2023 after a long battle with dementia and Alzheimer. He joined the Air Force in 1962 and retired in 1992 at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marian and his son, Thomas Jr. His parents, Jack & Viola Nesbit; sister, Jackie Nesbit; stepbrother, Jack Jr., and brother-in-law, Donald Hovorka precede him in death. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary and Janet; sister-in-law, Patricia Hovorka; brother-in-law, David Horvath, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A committal service with full military honors for Thomas will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
