Thomas Wayne Spivey (TSgt, USAF Ret.), 83, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Tom was born on August 6, 1941, to Carvin and Blanchie Spivey in Tabor City, North Carolina.
Tom enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1960 and served his country honorably until his retirement in August 1980.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Michael Dutton; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Lori Spivey; grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Williard, Matthew (Caitlin) Dutton, Taylor (Wes) Tameifuna, Ella Spivey, Holton and Treston Souquette; great-grandchildren, Simon, Benji, Emily Williard, and Rowen Tameifuna; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carvin and Blanchie Spivey; and brothers, Bobby and Andy Spivey.
Private services will be held at a later date in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
