Tomasita L Garza

Tomasita L Garza, age 80, of Universal City, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Tomasita was born in Laredo, TX on December 29, 1944, to Francisco and Dominga Garcia. Tomasita enjoyed sewing and gardening in her free time. She also spent her time assisting at St. Monica’s with the Guadalupanas. Before Covid, Tomasita and Epigmenio would go to the casinos with RAFB with other retirees.

Tomasita’s beautiful legacy will be carried on by her husband of 54 years, Epigmenio Garza III; son, Freddie (Marivic); daughters, Yolanda (Richard) and Maria; brother, Luis Garcia; sisters, Raquel Garcia and Dora Alicia Tapia; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Jose Angel; son in law, Mario Marquez; parents, Francisco & Dominga Garcia; sister, Rosa Maria Patino; and brother Rosalio Garcia.

Tomasita’s light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Our family has requested that flowers can be sent to 325 Royal Troon, Cibolo, Texas 78108. A service will be held in Tomasita's honor on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10am at St. Monica's Catholic Church , 501 North St. Converse, Texas 78109. The family does request that everyone arrive 5-10 minutes early.
