My family and I remember Nanay Aileen as a very hardworking woman and a woman who always have a smile on her face whenever you glance at her.  I am thankful that she even help clean up after our birthday party in our house.  I never saw her run out of energy!  She’s funny too like her daughter, Rhoda. 
Most of all I won’t forget the day I visited Nanay Aileen before spring break this year.  God put in my heart to share to her Psalm 34:8 —Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 
Indeed, Nanay Aileen is blessed for she believe and accept Jesus Christ in her heart before she parted from us. There is never too late for anyone who repents from their sins and believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father in heaven.  I am at peace because I know this is not the end for I will see her one day in heaven. 
Nanay Aileen, your family whom you left behind will surely and dearly miss you but I pray that GOD may give them peace, faith, and strength to continue to life that GOD has given them. Your good memories will give them comfort and will inspire them to live a joyful life. 
May GOD who has the authority to give and take life will be highly honored in this circumstance for I know that He is good all the time and all the time God is good!

I will always remember your smile and how you dance your way in to the Christmas party it was a pleasure to meet you and I'm glad we did get a chance to you made my dad happy that day and we had lots of fun last Christmas May you Rest In Peace

I called her "Nay".  Aside from a neighbor and a friend, my kids loved her dearly.  We missed her being at the house and have some coffee in the morning. And I always remember her everytime we had a party, she brought the party with positive vibes because of her cheerfulness. I've never seen her angry but I've seen her being so kind, humble, generous and one of the beautiful souls one could ever meet.  She was a family-oriented woman. I knew how important and how pure was her heart for her family.  She was one of the best Mom in this world. And we definitely missed her. Me and family loved her too.  My heart was broken  when Rhoda told me about the sad news but I knew she already rest in paradise. 

She was very selfless. She always think and cares about everyone around her. That’s why everytime she’ll asked something from me I always say yes to her. I’m so happy I was able to hold your hand one last time. And I know even tho you can’t talk that time I know you can hear us saying how much we love you. You’re one of the best mother I know and truly admire. I miss you so much and will miss you forever. But I’m blessed to be able to spend time with you. And I’ll forever treasured everything we had. Thank you for everything Nanay Aileen I love you so much. Miss na kita sobra ❤️

Ever since I’ve met you Mommy lagi ka masayahin. You were always nice to my family. Very caring. I’m really going to miss you Mommy. I still remember the day you were with us during Nikki’s bday party. May nararamdaman ka na pala nun pero sobrang asikaso ka padin nun samin. Mami-miss ka namin pag punta kami ng Jollibee e ikaw pamandin ang Manager dun hehe..sobrang asikaso mo din kami pag nandun kami..mami-miss ka namin pag pumunta kami sa house nila Rhoda wala ng mommy na panay ang tawa and kwento…Thank you for being a part of our lives mommy. Nanay Aileen was like a real mother to me, a real grandma to my kids and sa real sister to my mom, Even tho we’re not blood family. She was our chosen family and a blessings from God. She’s caring, loving, fun and selfless person. She’s always there for me and my family specially when I’m by my self with the kids because of my husband job. I still remember the day we left Virginia we’re all sad and crying. I promised you that we will be back and im so sorry we were not able to be back soon. Since we left there you will always call me and ask me when are we conning back. Im so sorry Nanay Aileen, but we’ll be there soon I promise. I know the other night you visited me, don’t worry I’ll look after Rhoda, Roselyn and the kids. I know that is what you’re trying to tell me. Im happy too that I was able to visit you and even tho you can’t speak anymore you still open you eyes, nod your head and most specially you squeezed my hand. That was so precious and I will forever cherished that memory. Im gonna miss our conversations, I gonna miss your pag lalambing specially. I know I spoiled you too much, I will miss that. I know you’re with our Father now. Sabi ko nga kay Rhoda. Sis may empleyee shortage talaga ngayon kahit sa heaven may shortage ata ng angels that’s why God promoted you already. 2018 nung dumating ako sa Virginia at si Aileen yung una Kong naging kaibigan doon. Una pa Lang magaan na loob ko sa kanya kasi napaka masayahing tao nya. Pag kasama mo sya di mo maiisip ung mga problema mo. Tinatawanan na Lang namin. Tinulungan nya ako maka pasok sa trabaho. Masarap sya kasama sa trabaho palagi nya ako tinutulungan sa lahat. Nakaka miss ung pag break na namin sa mall bibili kami sa chick fil a chicken sandwich, favorite kasi namin yun Saka ung haagen-Daz na caramel shake. Bibili kami isa Lang then share kami palagi.  Minsan pag may napupulot kami pera sa mall bibili din kami sa chick fil a or Häagen-Dazs. Mahilig kami mag shopping dalawa. Dito Lang kasi namin naranasan mag shopping ng madami. Kahit malayo ung Ross, target at mall nilalakad namin pag Wala kami pasok para mag shopping kami. Paborito ko ung pansit ni Aileen the best yung pansit nya favorite food ko kasi ung pansit. Nakakatuwa pag bago kami pumasok sa work mag tatawagan muna kami kasi pag nag gawa kami ng baon para sa isat isa ung baon namin. Nung umalis kami ng Virginia nalungkot ako at Sobrang na miss ko sya. Palagi kami nag uusap na malapit na kami bumalik ng Virginia. Palagi nya sinasabi na ung trabaho ko Naka abang na sa akin at ako na Lang iniintay. Nung nag punta sya sa LA dati at pinuntahan ko sya dun para makita ko ulit sya. Nakakatuwa na nakasama ko ulit sya. At Yun yung huling alaala ko sa kanya. Iyon ung huling nayakap at huling kita ko sya sa personal. Mamimiss kita ng soba mahal Kong kaibigan. Mamimiss ko ung saya na binibigay mo sa mga Tao na naka paligid sayo, ung pag wawalking natin at lalo na ung kwentuhan natin. Malungkot ako at babalik na kami Dyan Pero Wala kana. Alam ko matagal mo na kami gusto makabalik Dyan. Pero masaya ako at Wala nang hirap, Wala nang Sakit at kasama kana ng Diyos. Mag iingat ka Dyan at alam ko na alam mo na mahal kita kapatid. Hanggang sa muling pag kikita. Dyan naman tayo sasayaw at mag walking. Patnubayan nawa ng Diyos Ang iyong kaluluwa.

I first met nanay Aileen  during her grandson Rayden’s birthday party and her birth month as well in September 2021. She was someone i thought it would be. A very kind person, easy to talk to and with a beautiful smile. I guess this is goodbye nanay Aileen.  It’s sad but knowing that you are no longer in pain and in the hands of our Lord now. Rest In Paradise. There, you’ll enjoy vast gardens full of beautiful flowers to enjoy. It’s been a pleasure knowing you. 
And to the bereaved family, May God be with you always and may you be comforted through the love of friends and family throughout this difficult time.
