I am so sad to hear of Anne's passing.  I used to live at Princess Anne Gardens and I would see her swimming in the pool after work.  She was very active, friendly and interesting to talk to.  She was someone I wanted to be like when I got older.

Your Michigan cousins send love and prayers to the family of Anne and Jim.  Our parents, Pat and Dick Rogalla, loved Anne and Jim.  There are many fond memories through the years.  We know that they are enjoying a great reunion in heaven.

To family and friends of Ann. I redid the bathroom in her room for her. She seemed to love it and enjoyed it. Amazing lady, called me everyday I was there and let me know that she fixed me lunch and it was in the frig. I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart felt sympathy is with you all. I worked with Anne for the past 10 years at Flagship. She was a wonderful, caring, sweet, warm loving woman! She always had a listening ear and lent her shoulder for me to cry on. I could talk to her about anything and she always had the answer. Anne was so full of energy & spunk! She danced around the office at times, even teaching me a few steps! Her passing came as a total shock to me and I don't think I'll ever get over it. I will keep in memory all the talks, laughs & good times we had at office functions, xmas parties, baby showers and so on. Anne will always hold a special place in my heart. She was an angel on earth, now she's an angel in heaven. I love you Anne and miss you.

I met you at the dance studio and from the time I met you I knew you were one of the sweetest and spunkiest people I had ever met. My dearest Anne!  So many things to say, you will always hold a place in our hearts!  You were a part of so many triumphs and tribulations in our lives!  You were there when we got married, stood by my side at midnight when they announced my moms unexpected death in the hospital - praying for me....praying for us all, the joyous birth of our son Brandt and all of the holiday parties when we were a "Flagship Family" dancing our you know what off!  But most of all.....you were our light, our joy and a loving friend!  You always found time for everyone and gave so much of yourself!

You're with the Lord now and the heavens are dancing ....they know they have the most loving, giving & spirited woman that many of us were lucky enough to have known!

My dearest Anne,

I will missed you so much, you were so good to me since I moved down from NJ and known nobody in Virginia Beach in 2006.  You kind of adopted me as friend/daughter.  I will remembered the time we spent and took turn treated each other for the lunches, dinners and movies.

I still remembered the time we spent together on May 30.  You told me you might live till 99 years old.  We had promised each other to have good time and enjoy life what ever way we like for the rest of our life........

John and Jim your mother were so proud of you and talked about you and the grandkids so much.  I know this is the vey hard time for the family.  God is with her.

We knew your parents in Middletown, NY.  Your Mom was receptionist to our insurance rep, Joe Murtagh, and also attended the same parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  It was a joy to find their names in the parish book when we first arrived 23+ years ago.  Loving parents, devoted parishioners.  Your Mom's smiling face will be missed by many...had direct contact with her three times last week before she died...reminisced about Middletown which we just visited recently. Although I only knew Anne for a short period of time through dancing I enjoyed her very much!   She will be greatly missed!   My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family during this time.

Dear Jim, John and Family,
When we received the news of your mother passing away we were so shocked, it was hard to believe. I can only imagine how you and your family are feeling.  Please know that everyone is praying for you and will do anything we can to help you through this difficult time.  Your mother was a wonderful person. She was the most caring and positive person, I have had the pleasure of calling my dear friend. Your mother was full of life and always saw her glass not half full, but completely full and over flowing. She always put others before herself.  I feel honored to have known her. Your mother and I worked together at the Flagship for 20 years and I was with her in February for her birthday. I could not believe she was 79.  She had the energy and the vigor of a person much younger and this was a testimony to her love for Jesus Christ who called us to put others before ourselves with love.   She always looked for the good in everyone and never gave up on them. Your mother’s life is a testimony that you can be proud of.   She was a blessing to me and everyone that knew her.  We will always keep her close in our hearts and she will be remembered as our “Annie” who we love so much.  I am sure you know she is dancing with the angels in heaven!!

Annie - You were our caretaker in the office for all these years.  You were a shoulder to cry on, our strength when we were weak.  I know I am sad now but I also can hear you in the back of my mind saying get up and dance.  I am in a better place and know that one day we will meet again.  So here I go Annie....I dancing. Anne and I were Coordinators of the Eucharistic Ministry at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  She showed her love of Jesus in all the ministries she was part of.  She was a wonderful and loving person.  She was my friend.  I will miss her always.  My prayers are with her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchild.  Cherish the memories of a kind and gentle mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  May she rest in peace with Jesus in heaven.

Anne will be greatly missed.  She is one of the most gracious and loving women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

There you were, Dear Anne, doing a good deed as usual; and Fate stepped in and God took you Home.  You were a Special Angel to so many here -- and now you're a Special Angel Up There.  You were loved by many, and will be sorely missed. Wonderful, fun memories will keep you alive in our hearts forever.

I knew Anne for only a short period of time but feel like I have known her a great deal longer. Upon meeting Anne I felt her natural trust and friendliness. She appeared to be everyones friend and from what I could see when she visited Betty Lee, Anne would do anything for anyone. She always seemed "upbeat" and in a hurry. I liked her a lot and even though I knew her just a bit, I will miss her.

Blessed in knowing Anne and witnessing the love she shared with all. A loving daughter to her mother, wife to her husband, mother to her sons, grandmother and great grandmother to the next generations. Anne showed the love of Christ to everyone and, by her example, leaves a rich legacy for all to follow.
