Charles Natale Lanfranchi, 87, passed away peacefully October 26, 2010 in a local hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Lanfranchi served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a civilian employee of the Navy until his retirement in 1980.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy Barnes Lanfranchi; three children: Charles N. Lanfranchi, Jr. and wife Sandra, Kimberly Lanfranchi Cohen and husband Barry, and Jody A. Lanfranchi and wife Rita; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Destroyer Escort Historical Museum, PO Box 1926, Albany, NY 12201 or the charity of your choice.
