Darlene Mae Carr, 50, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2021.
She was born on October 24, 1970 in Beckley, West Virginia to Catherine M. Carr and the late Lewis W. Carr. She had been a resident of Virginia Beach, VA for the last 30 years.
Darlene was a simple, kind hearted person who loved coffee, the color red, a good Netflix series and Reese's pb cups.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jennifer Taylor, Brenton Seal, Stephani Carr, Sean Carr and Brooke Carr; grandchildren, Jeremiah Covington, Jaycelyn Taylor, Weston Taylor, Jessa Taylor and Jude Taylor; sisters, Dorene Davis and Deanna Means; half brother, Ted Wilson; half sisters, Gearlene Lilly and Betty Taylor; nieces, Kathryn Davis and Kiara Means; nephew, David Davis and other loving family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors of Gastroenterology Consultants, where Darlene worked for the last 14 years.
A memorial service will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home on Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
