Doris was a very "special lady," loved by all of our family for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of your family during this difficult time.

I just learned that Doris had fallen asleep in the hands of the Lord. I am deeply saddened. I was a regular customer in her shoppe and was always treated as a member of the family. She was a kind lovely lady and I'm honored to have known her. My condolences to Arthur and her family.

Dana, I send to you and your family my love and sympathy.  I am so sorry I am just now reading your mother's obituary.  Blessings especially to you, dear Dana.  My heart aches for your loss.  I was so pleased to see that you posted that beautiful photograph of your mother on Facebook.  I knew and loved your grandmother so much.  I am sad I did not know your lovely mother as personally, too.  There is a sacred bond between mothers and their babies that can never be destroyed.  And I know your mother will always be there to watch over you.

I am so blessed to have known Doris, and to have been even a small part of her life.  A truly amazing person with such a bright spirit.  Art, Schyler, Haley and the entire family, my sincere condolences to you and my prayers for you.  God bless Doris's memory.

Doris, you've been a wonderful friend for many years, always greeting this family with a smile, a "Hi honey, it's good to see you"  and "what can I do for you?". It hurts that you are not here and you are greatly missed.

I am so sorry that Doris has passed but she is in a place where she wont be suffering any longer and can still look down on you and your family.  I'm sorry the weather postponed her celebration of life-I will try and attend when a new date is chosen-I am having knee surgery on Thursday but you will be in my prayers.
