Mrs. Beeman was born in Newport News, Virginia and resided in Virginia Beach most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Branch and Naomie Harris Branch, her husband, John Leonard Beeman, Sr., two sisters Helen Branch Holland and Katherine Branch Braswell.
Survivors include three children, Linda Bagwell, (Healy), John L. Beeman, Jr., and James Michael Beeman, (Debra); five grandchildren Misty McCarver, Jonathan Beeman, Jason and Amy Bagwell, and Kelly Francisco; eight great grandchildren and a sister Shirley Branch Braswell.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 11:00a.m. at Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Windsor, Virginia. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
