Felipe Mendoza Baylon

Felipe Mendoza Baylon, age 83, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Felipe was born September 20, 1938 in Bulacan, Philippines. He was preceded in death by his parents Angel Baylon and Regina Mendoza and two brothers Angel Baylon, Jr. and Leopoldo Baylon and a sister Victoria Gealone.

Mr. Baylon retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of service. He also retired from Civil Service after twenty years of service. He was a member of the Assembly of Yah.

Survivors include his loving wife Mona Baylon; two sons Steve Baylon and Dwayne Baylon, adopted daughter April Baylon, two foster children Hoa and Tung; a brother Frank Baylon and wife Purita Baylon and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 12, 2:00p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
