Frances Wicks Austin was born on 9/6/1941 and died on 6/6/2025. She is survived by her love Steele McGonegal, her brother Bill Wicks, her son Warren Austin, and her grandchildren Jacob and Kendall Austin.
She truly loved her 40 years working as a labor and delivery nurse helping thousands of families welcome new children into the world. She had a lifelong love of animals and pets in her life. She was a wonderful mother and exceptional grandmother. She truly cared about all these passions in her life and was the best example of service a family could ever have.
There will be a memorial service at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home on Witchduck Road on Tuesday June 24th at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, she would prefer donations to your local SPCA.
