George Richard Brandon, age 84, of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. George was born February 16, 1938 in the Bronx, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Ann Brandon.
Mr. Brandon retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. He attended St. Mark's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his loving wife Roseann Brandon, five children Paul Brandon, Sharon Holm, (Dennis) Mark Brandon and his wife Charlene, Linda Brandon and Sheila Irving and her husband Tom; two step daughters Tina Midgett and her husband Jamie, and Palma Hayhurst and her husband Robert; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
