Joan I. Falkowski, 89, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Virginia Beach General Hospital. Joan was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Mary Zalewski. She is also predeceased by her husband, Theordore Falkowski.
Joan was a homemaker and very devoted to her family. In her spare time, she loved investing and researching the stock market.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne A. Sundberg; nieces, Sue Capasso and Lourdes Barbaglia.
A visitation will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 10am on Thursday at Rosewood Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
