Mr. Mamorbor-Cortez was born in Groton, Connecticut, on September 11, 1961. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for six years. He was a graduate of the Naval Academy, and Georgia Tech. He was a partner in a law firm, Cortez, Kelly, and Stevens. He was award-winning ballroom and latin dancer and loved his extended family and friends.
He was preceded by his parents Bernard and Amor Mamorbor. He is survived by his daughter Maria Huffstetler and her husband Wesley; and his brother Bernard Lamorena Mamorbor, Jr.
