Landon McMillan Piercy

Landon McMillan Piercy, age 94, of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, holding his daughter’s hand. Mr. Piercy was born December 6, 1927 to the late Lonnie Franklin and Laura Catherine Piercy. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Maybell Piercy; son, Landon “Mack” Piercy; and brother, Rowe Piercy.

Mr. Piercy served in the U.S. Navy and was a Refrigeration/AC Foreman at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. He was a faithful member and deacon at Gateway Free Will Baptist Church where he will be remembered as a kind, humble and sincere follower of Christ.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Mike) Minter; his daughter-in-law, Ginger Piercy; his grandchildren, Casie (Marc) Neppl, Chad (Courtney) Minter, Corey (Rachel) Minter, Alexandra Piercy and Kayla Piercy; great grandchildren, Claire Minter, Raegan Minter, Naomi Minter, Piercyn Minter and Judah Neppl.
