Lillie Pearl Law, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia. She was 84 years old. Born on February 16, 1941, in Coffeeville, Alabama, she lived a simple yet full life, gracing those around her with kindness and friendliness.
Lillie delighted in the simple pleasures of life and found joy in solving crossword puzzles, reading, and listening to music. She particularly cherished the soulful melodies of Sam Cooke and the heartfelt tunes of Hank Williams.
Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Louis Benson Law, her parents Alonzo and Rosener Brown, her sons Robert E. Law and John L. Law, her brother Bishop John L. Brown, and four sisters; Rosabell Turner, Lennie Brown, Willadean Tait and Doris Mobley.
Lillie is survived by her loving daughters, Helen Rose Law and Mary Ann Law. Her legacy also lives on through her three cherished grandchildren, Nekesha C. Law, LaPorchia N. Law, and Robert M. Law, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Lillie Pearl Law will be remembered with deep affection and admiration by all who knew her. Her gentle presence will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
