Mrs. Zaba was born in Lumberton, NC and was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Hunt and Leslie Graham Hunt, and her husband, Edward John Zaba, may they always be together forever in love. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Luther "Billy" Hunt and a sister, Arlean Hunt.
Survivors include two daughters, Michele Floyd and husband, Kevin; Leslie Edwards and husband, Frank all of Virginia Beach, VA; She was a loving and devoted grandmother to Aaron and Austin Edwards, John and Melissa Floyd who will miss her dearly; a brother, Len Hunt, four sisters, Annie Sackstein, Julia Oxendine, Girlean Menchhofer and husband, Jerry, Shirley Nicholson and husband, Carl. Lucy truly enjoyed gardening and spending many special times talking with her neighbors.
The family will receive friends at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family request in memory of Mrs. Zaba to honor her by random acts of kindness. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
