She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Earl Langley, Sr., and her son, Joseph E. Langley, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her brother George Dudley and her children Peggy Peterson of San Antonio, TX ; Donald Langley of Cheyenne, WY; Robert Stephen Langley of Hardwood, MD; Deborah L. Hughes of Va Beach, VA; and Melodie A. London of Suffolk, VA.
She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Marguerite served as a WAVE in the US NAVY during WWII and was a lifelong supporter of the US Military. She worked at the US Naval Academy as a clerk for 32 years until her retirement in 1996.
Throughout her many years of service at the midshipmen store, she was considered a “mom away from home” by the many midshipmen she befriended. She was a lifetime member of the Annapolis Moose Lodge and served a term as Senior Regent during the 1960s.
A visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home 601 N. Witchduck Rd Va Beach, VA.
