Born in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Miles Bragdon and Lavercie Dross. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, James Monroe Simpson, Sr., and a son-in-law, Arthur.
Survivors include her sister, Phyllis McIntyre; five children, daughter Linda K. Whitton, sons, James M. Simpson, Jr., (Cathy), Gregory L. Simpson, (Diane), Michael L. Simpson, (Lynn) and David R. Simpson, (Janelle); ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and a very special friend Jeanne Cooper. Her grandchildren will be forever grateful for the loving care that she gave to them while they were growing up.
God gave us the best mother on earth. We love you and will miss you. Katie, Jimmy, Greg, Mikey and David.
