Mrs. Shelly was born in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Pearl Hacker and her husband William Harvey Shelly and a daughter Carol Shelly, three brothers, A. Floyd, Roland and Ray Hacker and a sister Betty Huber.
Mrs. Shelly most recently served as pianist and sang in the choir at Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her four sons William K. Shelly and wife Katharine, Tod Shelly and wife Barbara, Steven Shelly and James Shelly; several grandchildren and great children; a sister Janice Swartz and a brother Ernest Hacker.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 5, 2:00pm at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach.
