Mitchell Howard Jones passed away March 11, 2021 in Virginia Beach, VA. He was born on July 11, 1957 in Concord, NC to his predeceased father Howard and his loving mother Betty (who was with him from his first breath to his last).
He retired from the Department of Defense after 35 years and was employed by CVS as a Pharmacy Technician. Mitch loved his family and faith.
Mitch is survived by his wife Becky, mother Betty, two daughters Erin and Megan (Michael), step-daughters Jessica and Amy (Trevor), step-son Chris, two sisters Lori (David) and Mitzi, five grandchildren Lily, Brooklyn, Clayton, River, and Isaak; also, many family friends, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Wednesday, March 17, from 5pm to 7pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA, 23462. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18 at 10am at St. John's Baptist Church, 2300 Holland Rd., Virginia Beach, VA, 23453. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
