Mr. Roberge proudly served the U.S. Navy in World War II and spent several tours in Vietnam while an officer in the U.S. Army from which he retired after 20 years of service. He was also the Director of Training for NARF, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paula Roberge; daughter Evelyn Piggott and her husband Robert; step-son Edwin Acosta; sisters Clair LaLonde, Theresa Rogeski, Yvette Schenck and Cecile Roberge; 5 grandchildren, Rachel Love, Alyssa D’Souza, Eric Piggott, Irelys Acosta and Edwin Acosta, and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 4pm at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 712 Little Neck Rd., Virginia Beach VA .
